Stride Billing Clients can create and send electronic patient invoices via email, text, or paper directly from the Reports Center.
Clients who are not utilizing Stax Integrated Card Processing for their practice will not have the ability to send electronic statements via text or email. However, the same process can be followed to send out paper statements!
Electronic Patient Invoicing
Electronic patient invoices can now be created through Stride Reports for individual and multiple patients through bulk action.
Once claims have been moved from ‘Charge’ to ‘Collect,’ you will be able to utilize our new feature. Invoices can now be sent to patients electronically via email or text. Paper invoices continue to be an option.
Go into Reporting > Claims > Patient Statement > Patient Balances.
From here, we can now create an electronic and/or paper invoice for a single patient balance, or for multiple patients at a time.
To create an invoice for an individual patient, we select the box to the left of the patient name and then click ‘Create Invoices’.
Once the claims you wish to create invoices for have been appropriately selected and you have clicked ‘Create Invoices’ you will receive a pop-up where you can choose to apply patient credit balances before generating the invoice(s).
After applying or not applying the patient credit balances, click Next.
At this point, you will see a new pop up where you need to select the detail level of the invoice, as well as the Invoice Method.
Click Submit.
The ‘Invoices Created’ pop up will appear indicating that text and email invoices have been sent to the patient, and the Paper Invoices can be downloaded. Paper invoices can also be downloaded later through Claims > Patient Statements > Invoice batches. Watch how below!
