Within Stride, there are several buttons available to you to help you throughout the note writing process. These options will be displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the note itself as shown below:
From Left to Right, below is a description of what each button offers within Stride:
Autosave feature: Stride automatically autosaves your note about every minute or so, and it is timestamped for you to see when your last save occurred. No action is required to save your note!
Change Note Type Button: Clicking this button allows the user to change their note type at any time, as long as the note has not been locked yet. If you are upgrading your note type, you will not lose any data already entered in the note. If you are downgrading your note type, you may lose information because the downgraded note type may not have that section available to pull data into. An example would be going from an IE to a daily note, where a daily note does not have a POC field in the base template.
Prefill Data Button: There are two options available by clicking this button. You can either Prefill data from a patient's intake form, or you can prefill the note with a pre-filled template that you have already saved. Additionally, you are also able to prefill the Initial Evaluation note with a completed intake from a patient's previous case.
Note Preview Button: This button allows you to preview how the PDF version of your note will appear. Please keep in mind that only sections with data entered in them will be displayed in your note preview. Any blank sections will not appear on the note PDF.
MIPS Progress Button: This button will only apply to your practice if you have chosen to track MIPS data with one of our integrated partners.
Note Feedback Button: This button utilizes AI to provide feedback on strengths and areas to improve on within the note itself. This is a highly useful tool for new clinicians and students to gain further insight on documentation compliance.
Lock Button: This button allows you to lock and sign your note. This button can also be utilized at anytime to see what areas of your note must be addressed in order to successfully sign and lock your note.
