Through the use of Custom Templates, you can dictate which sections show up in your initial evaluation. Custom Templates are created within the Settings tab.
Using Custom Templates combined with prefilled templates offers the greatest efficiency for documentation and IE completion, setting you, your team and your patient's case up for success!
IMPORTANT:
The following sections are REQUIRED in order to lock an Evaluation. You should NOT DELETE THESE sections when creating a Custom EVAL Template.
- Treatment Diagnosis (ICD 10 Codes), Subjective > Case Overview
- Goals, Assessment
- Patient Clinical Presentation (Eval Complexity Code), Assessment
- Plan of Care (Frequency and Duration), Plan
The following sections will carryover from Evaluation to the Daily Note. It is recommended that you DO NOT DELETE these when creating a Custom Template.
- Subjective Overview
- Assessment Overview
NOTE: Your user will need the Site Administrator permission in order to access Settings>Custom Templates
CREATE CUSTOM TEMPLATES:
Go to Settings, click Custom Templates.
Click the three dots to the Right of the template you wish to copy or edit. You can also create new base template versions using an existing template by clicking COPY, and then edit it to have fewer note sections than the original.
For example, you can COPY “Initial Evaluation”create a new template such as “Initial Evaluation - Knee” using the existing “Initial Evaluation” template and configure it to only include the relevant subjective and objective components you want to capture on the knee.
