Automatically Delete Remaining Appts at Discharge
You can now delete any remaining scheduled appointments associated with a case at the time of discharge. This option will appear if visits remain on the schedule when any of the following actions are taken:
- A Discharge Note is completed
- A Quick Discharge is completed
- A case is moved to Discharge Status without a note
1. Discharge Note
When a Discharge Note is completed for a case, any appointments scheduled after the date of service of the note will be available for batch deletion during the note locking process.
2. Quick Discharge
When a Quick Discharge is completed, any appointments scheduled on or after the discharge date will be available for batch deletion.
*In the example below, the only appointment scheduled for the patient was on the same date as the Quick Discharge.
3. Case moved to discharge status
When a case is moved to Discharge Status without completing a Discharge Note or Quick Discharge, all appointments scheduled on or after the date this action is taken will be available for batch deletion.
Any appointments deleted from your calendar, can be tracked in the Deleted Appointments Report under the Reporting tab.
