Stride Feature Release
September 11, 2024
Patient Intake Link Improvements
Previously, each time you sent a new intake link to a patient’s email or phone, Stride would generate a new link and access code as well as expire the old link. After listening to feedback from our customers, we’ve loosened these rules.
Now, each time you send an intake email or text message to the patient, they’ll receive the same link and access code each time. This will eliminate the risk of the patient clicking on an expired link and not being able to access the intake.

Credit Balance Report
Stride now has a credit balance report that contains every patient that has a non-zero credit balance. The report shows you the patient, their latest appointment, their credit balance, and (if you are a Stride Integrated Billing customer) the number of open claims they have. These metrics can help you make a decision on whether you should refund the patient or not.
For Stride Integrated Billing customers, this report can be found under the Claims section
For Non-Stride Billing customers, this report can be found under the Patient Charges section

Improvements to assigning therapy assistant modifiers
Practices with PTAs and OTAs will now see a PTA/OTA checkbox on each CPT code row in the billing section of the note. The checkbox acts as a visual reminder to consider adding the CQ/CO modifier if an assistant performed the service. There is also a warning when locking a note that will prompt an assistant to add CQ/CO modifiers if warranted.

Remittance Check Tracking (For Stride Integrated Billing)
Each remittance in Stride now has a tracking field called “Check Received”. This field allows you to manually track if and when the check is deposited in your bank account. The field is also present on the Remittance report. Stride has preset the value of all posted remits to “Yes” for Check Received. If you would like to have the posted remits changed back to “No” please contact us at support@stridethera.com.
