New Support Ticketing System
Stride has implemented a new support ticketing system to ensure we provide prompt service to all customers. Please send all support related requests to support@stridethera.com. This will create a support ticket in our system that can be used as a reference number.
Scanning Software Update
We have upgraded the version of Dynamsoft scanning software used in Stride. When you attempt to scan for the first time, you will be prompted with a message to upgrade the software. After you complete the upgrade you will not be prompted again on that computer.
Renaming “Patient Balance” to “Credit Balance”
We have renamed what we were previously calling the “Patient Balance” to “Credit Balance” This update is to avoid confusion with the Patient Balance that is left over on a claim and instead make it clear this is a credit on the patient’s account.

Bulk Insurance Sync (Basic)
Insurance and authorizations on a case can now be bulk synced to existing notes from the Insurance Coverage section on the patient’s case.

Bulk Insurance Sync (For Stride Integrated Billing)
Insurance information and authorizations added to a case can now be bulk synced to existing notes AND directly to claims.
Updates for both the Primary and Secondary selection on notes/claims can be made directly from the case.
If updates are needed for only one of a patient’s insurances, such as member id and policy holder information, that can be updated from within the drawer for that insurance coverage by clicking “View Insurance Details”.

Updated Patient Statement (For Stride Integrated Billing)
The patient statement page on a patient’s chart has been updated to show totals inclusive of the credit balance on their account. This update provides a more complete picture of how much the patient has paid overall as well as how much they owe to the practice.

Bulk Resubmit Rejections (For Stride Integrated Billing)
You can now bulk move claims from the Rejection bucket back to the Ready To Submit bucket.

Bulk Apply Credit Balance (For Stride Integrated Billing)
When creating patient charges in Stride, in the Pending Patient - Charges bucket, after receiving remits from the payer, you can bulk apply available credit balance(s) from the patients’ chart directly to the charge to reduce the amount to collect from the patient.

Bulk Refund Into Credit Balance (For Stride Integrated Billing)
When claims are sitting in the Needs Attention - Negative Balance bucket due to overpayment from the patient, you can now bulk refund the negative balances into the patient’s credit balance on their chart. Note, this bulk action only refunds into the credit balance and will never refund back to the original payment method.

Credit Balance Column on Patient Statement Report (For Stride Integrated Billing)
There is now a column on the Patient Statement report that informs you of patients’ current credit balance. This column allows you to make informed decisions on if you would like to apply that credit to an outstanding patient balance on a claim before sending out invoices.
