Custom Patient Tags can be created and added to patients throughout Stride. Custom tags can be configured to be visible in different sections of Stride including the Calendar, Patient Chart, and Claims .
Custom Tags can be created as either Global Tags or One-Time Patient Tags.
- Global Tags are created within the Settings tab of Stride. These tags are available to add to any patient within your site.
- One-Time Patient Tags can only be created within the patient chart. These tags are specific to one patient and cannot be reused across other patients.
Adding Global Tags
To begin creating Global Tags for your practice, open Settings and select Global Tags from the menu on the left.
Using the plus sign in the top right hand corner, you can add a new global tag to your practice. You can configure the tag with the information below:
- Name: the text that will be displayed with the Tag Symbol
- Tag Symbol: the symbol that will appear throughout Stride to notify your team
- Priority: the order tags are displayed in when multiple tags are assigned to a patient
- Visibility: the locations in Stride where the tag will be visible to your team
Adding Tags to a Patient
Patient tags can be added, viewed or edited by clicking anywhere the tags or “Add Tags” button appears on the site and then clicking the plus button. The complete list of patient tags can also be accessed on the patient chart by clicking “More” and then the “Tags” tab
You have the option to either Select Global Tags available within your site, OR Create a One-time Patient Tag.
Adding Global Tags to a Patient
To select a Global Tag, begin typing the name of the Global Tag to search your system. The Symbol, Priority, and Visibility will automatically fill based on how this Global Tag was created within the Settings tab by a Super User for your site. You have the option to add a patient-specific note if you need to add additional details to the tag.
Adding a One-Time Patient Tag
For one-time tags you will manually select all fields on the tag. These are unique to the patient, and will not be added to the Global Tags list.
Viewing Tags on Patients
Within the Patient Chart you have the option to filter tags based on the visibility in the top right, as well as the Active or Inactive status in the top left.
The ordering of tags across the site will be based on the priority of the tags from high to low.
Tags will appear in different sections of the site based on the visibility set on the tag. You can click on a tag at any location within Stride to see the name of the tag, as well as the option to click for details and notes.
