Patient Statement Updates
Sending Statements To Guarantors
Stride will now send statements to the guarantor listed on the patient’s chart if this information is filled out. Stride will exclusively look at the guarantor mobile phone number, email address and mailing address as long as a guarantor name and relationship is specified. The guarantor must have this information provided in order for a statement to be sent via text, email, or paper, respectively, which follows the same rule as sending statements to patients without guarantors.

Electronic Statement Opt-out
You can now opt-out individual patients from being sent text or email statements. The settings are located under the Marketing and Communication section of the Patient Information page.
When this setting it turned off, you will no longer have the option to send out a statement using this method to the patient

Individualized Memo
Invoices can now be sent with an individualized memo. This allows you to personalize an invoice and convey additional information to a specific patient or group of patients.
The individualized memo input is available to fill out on both the individual and bulk invoice creation modals.
Here is an example of what the memo will look like on the paper statement:

Progress Note Tracking By Days
You can now specify a number of days before requiring another progress note to be written. While a progress note is no longer required to be written every 30 days by Medicare, certain practices may still want to to set this requirement or have a state specific rule that mandates it.
The setting can be found on the Compliance/Billing Rules tab of the payer settings
The tracker will appear on the note creation modal. The warning will:
- Not appear at all if the case is greater than 10 days from the next progress note
- Appear yellow if the case if less than or equal to 10 days but greater than 5 days away from the next progress note
- Appear red if the case is less than or equal to 5 days away from the next progress note
