Write-off Types for Claims
When modifying claims, you will now have new custom write-off reasons available to you. These write-off options are treated like adjustments, but are grouped separately for organizational and reporting purposes.

Authorizations by Units
Authorizations can now be configured to track towards a maximum number of allowed units. Depending on the authorization received, you may enter either visits allowed or units allowed, or if needed you may enter both visits and units allowed.
Alerts will show when both starting and locking a note as well as on the appointment if you are approaching or have exceeded your allowed units.
This data is also available in the Authorization report and is filterable and sortable to find cases with approaching unit limits.

Auto Charge Patients with Pending Claims
When a claim has been fully adjudicated by all payers and there are no issues remaining, the system will now automatically create outstanding charges on the patient’s chart for collection. The automation runs on a 15 minute schedule. You will briefly see claims sit in the “Charge” bucket before automatically moving to the “Collect” bucket.
Last Submitted Date Column on Claims Reports
The Needs Attention, Pending Payer and Remittance Pending claims tables now have a “Last Submitted” date column. This column represents the last time the claim was submitted to any payer (primary, secondary or tertiary). The column is both filterable and sortable.
