- A claim with the 'Conflict Resolution Required' flag is the result of an amended note
Actions
1. Use this Version
- Determine which claim should be billed out and hit Use this version on that version
- Since the original claim has already been submitted, its status must be updated to allow the new claim to be billed (step 2)
2. Update original claim
- To go Claims > All and locate the claim
- If you want to send a Voided claim, hit Void. Otherwise, hit Submit
- If you don't want to send a corrected claim (if you're sending the claim to Medicare, for example), clear out the Resubmission Code and Original Ref # fields
- In the Claims > Ready to Submit bucket, you will now see the claim with a red flag
3. Send amended claim to Claims
- Go back to the Billing Queue and refresh the amended claim
- Hit Actions > Send
4. Resubmit the new claim
- You will then go back to Claims > Ready to Submit and refresh the page to see that there is no longer a red flag on the claim (this may take a moment). Once this is done, you will see that the claim is ready to submit like normal.
