Key phrases are a great way to improve your efficiency with documentation. You can save key phrase at ANY time. If you find yourself typing the same phrase over and over, use the steps below to save that phrase as a key phrase for later use! Your future self will thank you!
SAVING KEY PHRASES:
To save a key phrase, highlight the text you want to turn into a key phrase then click ctrl+k (on a windows device) or cmd+k (on an Apple device). Note - you can save your Kay Phrase for either personal or team use.
Key phrases are saved within specific areas of the chart. The red circle below shows where this key phrase will be saved. This is designed to prevent Stride users from having to sort through a long list of key phrases each use, and rather direct them to the Kay phrases that are most applicable based on the section of the note they are in.
USING KEY PHRASES:
To use a key phrase, click anywhere in a text box and click ctrl+k (on a windows device) or cmd+k (on an Apple device).
PLACEHOLDERS:
To create placeholders in your key phrase to update, insert @@. The system will check that all instances of @@ are removed before the therapist can sign the note.
To find where the placeholders exist in the note, you can use Ctl+F or Command+F, search '@@' and the placeholders will be highlighted for you.
