Outbound faxing is available to all Stride users. You can send faxes from the patient chart to the referring provider, entire care team, or to someone listed as a Contact within Stride. Additionally, you can create custom e-faxes as needed for recipients that are not within your Stride account.
Stride users can complete e-faxing during the Note Finalization Process OR At the Case level, using the three dot menu to the right of the completed note.

2. Case Level - Any User
Once a note has been completed, click the three dot menu to the right.
You will have any options for e-faxing including: e-fax POC, e-fax Report, e-fax Daily report.
Select which type of report you wish to fax, and you will reach the following pop up:
Once at this screen, you have the ability to select who you would like to send the fax to from the following options:
- Referring Physician - will populate in the bottom of this pop up screen auto checked.
- Care Team - all physicians/ referral sources associated with this patient will populate and you can check any additional to include in the fax (shown above). This is helpful if perhaps the patient was referred to you by a specialist, but you would also like to keep their PCP updated in regards to their care.
- Contact - Can select a contract from your contact list in Stride. This is a great way to fax Notes to Case Managers or Attorneys, for example.
- Custom - can add any fax number and name you wish to send the fax to.
You will be able to add details to the Title* block, which is required, to create a customized cover sheet.
REPORTING:
Returning to the three dot menu, you can view E-fax history for this specific document.
Additional fax reporting can be found in the Reports > Cases > Fax. Here we have reports that provide in depth details on Sent Faxes, and Received Faxes if your practice is configured for inbound faxing.
