Active Campaigns can be edited by either editing a step, adding a step or removing a step. It's important to note, that while you are able to change the steps, your audience is not changeable.
Edit a Step
Editing a step can be helpful if you need to update the content of a message/email or change when the step triggers. When a step is edited, any patients who have already received that step will not receive it again—even if the trigger criteria (such as number of visits or days) is changed.
To edit a step:
Select the three dots to the right of the step and click Edit.
Update the Step Name, Trigger Type, or Trigger Information (days, visits, etc.).
- Save Changes
Important note:
While editing steps is allowed, you cannot make changes that would alter the order of steps. For example, if you have one step that sends after 3 visits and another that sends after 6 visits, you would not be able to update the 3-visit step to send after 7 visits. Doing so will result in an error.
In this case, you would need to disable the existing step and create a new one instead.
Add a Step
Adding a step can be helpful when you want to add any additional trigger to the campaign.
To add a step:
Select Add Step
Enter Name of Step, Trigger Rule, Time After Trigger, Channel and Type of Step
- Save Campaign
Important Note:
When adding a step, please note that any patients in the audience who have passed the trigger (5th visit on case) would not receive this newly added step.
Disable a Step
Disabling a step can be helpful when content is no longer needed, but the rest of the campaign is still applicable.
To disable a step:
- Select the 3 dots to the right of the step
- Select Disable
Enable a Step
If you disable a step in error, you always enable it again.
To enable a step:
- Select the 3 dots to the right of the disabled step
- Select Enable
