This report displays all outstanding amounts that remain on claims in Stride.
By default, this report will display the information of Outstanding AR by Days Outstanding and show both Insurance and Patient AR, but can be changed to show data by one or the other.
When Grouped By Days Outstanding, the report includes the following columns:
Days Outstanding: how many days the outstanding balance has been on the claim (<= 30 days, 31 - 60 days, 61 - 90 days, 91 - 120 days, and Over 120)
Total Charge: the total charge on the claim
Total Adjusted Charge: the adjusted charge amount
Total Insurance Paid: the amount insurance has paid toward the claim
Total Patient Paid: the amount the patient has paid toward the claim
Total Collected: the total amount collected from the payer(s) and the patient
Total Remaining: the total amount remaining on the claim
When Grouped By Claim, the report includes the following columns:
Date of Service: the date of service associated with the claim
Date Submitted: the date the claim was submitted to insurance
Days Outstanding: how many days the outstanding balance has been on the claim
Patient: the patient associated with the claim
Payer: the payer(s) associated with the claim
Charge: the total charge amount
Adjusted Charge: the charge amount with applied adjustments
Insurance Paid: the amount insurance has paid toward the claim
Patient Paid: the amount the patient has paid toward the claim
Remaining: the total amount remaining on the claim
Please note that when the report is grouped by Claim, the Days Outstanding field will default to the last 0-30 days. This can be adjusted as needed to show a particular date range, or All Periods.
This report can be exported as a CSV file by clicking the ‘download’ icon in the top right corner.
