Your First note in Stride will be either an Initial Eval or Transitional Progress Note.
- Initial Evaluations: New Cases to your office following Stride Launch.
- Transitional Progress Notes: Existing Active Cases from your previous EMR.
Transitional Progress Note is a Special Note type to set the Patient's POC in Stride including goals, frequency, duration and procedures. This note type is billable, and will reset the progress note count.
Required Information to complete this note should be added by the clinician from the previous EMR including:
- ICD 10 codes
- Goals
- Frequency & Duration
- Procedures
Most clinicians choose to complete this note type during the first scheduled session in Stride, while working with the patient. Often, clinicians use this time to also take some objective measurements, or copy this information from a recent note in the previous EMR.
If you prefer, you can begin these notes ahead of time once your schedule has been transitioned to Stride.
