Outcome Measure data is now organized directly within each case, making it easier to review historical PRO results, manage active measures, and streamline documentation.
With this update:
- Active Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs) are automatically sent to patients 24 hours ahead of Evaluation-type visits.
- Users can manually push a PRO to a patient electronically via text, email, or an in office device.
- PRO history is centralized in a dedicated Outcome Measures Tab.
- Users can archive PROs that no longer pertain to the patient, and select new Outcome Measures as needed.
- PROs that have been completed by patients prior to a visit will be available for the clinician to attach to the note during the final step of the note opening process.
Automatic Outcome Measures:
Any PRO assigned to a patient’s case will now automatically be sent 24 hours before the following evaluation-type visits: Progress Note, Re-Evaluation, Re-Certification, or Discharge.
Active Outcomes will be automatically sent to patients 24 hours prior to any Evaluation type visit, including Progress Note, Re-Evaluation, Re-Certification, and Discharge visits.
Historical Data Review:
Outcome Measure data now lives within each case, in a tab to the right of the Clinical Notes. The Outcome Measures Tab displays all historical PRO Results associated with that case. Inside of the Outcome Measures Tab of the Patient Chart you can view the historical data of each Active PRO.
The AI magic wand can be utilized to provide a detailed analysis of the trending Outcome Measure data.
Re-Sending Outcome Measures:
In the event that a patient has not completed the PRO, it can be manually resent at any time, as long as an appointment is scheduled in the future for that case.
Archiving Outcome Measures:
If a patient no longer requires a specific outcome measure, you can archive the Outcome Measure to prevent future automatic send outs to the patient.
Archived Outcome Measures will not be automatically sent to patients. They can be moved back to active at any time.
Any Active Outcome Measure will continue to be automatically sent to patients 24 hours prior to any Evaluation type visit and also be available to manually Re-Send.
Attaching the PRO to the Note:
Once a patient completes a PRO, the clinician can attach it during the final step of opening a note.
If attached at that time, the PRO is automatically pulled into the Objective Measures section, where it can be reviewed and edited if needed.
If the PRO is not attached, it remains in the Outcome Measures Tab as a Patient Questionnaire.
