CONFIGURING AUTHORIZATION:
Authorizations can be configured two ways: to track towards a maximum number of allowed visits or units .
Depending on the authorization received, you may enter either visits allowed or units allowed, or if needed, you may enter both visits and units allowed.
AUTHORIZATION ALERTS:
Alerts will show when both starting and locking a note as well as on the appointment if you are approaching or have exceeded your allowed units.
For auth by visit, the alert will show when you are 3 visits away from visits allowed. If there are 10 visits authorized, the alert will first show on visit 8.
- This alert tracks opened notes, not scheduled visits.
For auth by units, the alert will be prompted when you are 12 units away from Units allowed. If there are 22 units authorized, you will receive this alert once 10 units have been billed on Signed notes.
- This alert tracks units from closed notes.
This data is also available in the Authorization Report and is filterable and sortable to find cases with approaching unit limits.
