If insurance verification is completed and a patient has a yearly visit limit, it is recommended that a Case Visit Max is entered. This will allow accumulation trackers work properly, offering you a proactive approach to case management. The case max visits field will decrease for all past appointments marked as checked-in.
Once the Case Visit Max is entered on the patient's case details, you will begin to see calendar appointment popups, as well as note creation alerts (when applicable).
How to Add Max Case Visits
Go to the Patient's Case
Select 'Edit Case'
On the Overview tab, enter 'Max Visits' under Case Details
Save Changes
Once added, you will begin to see appointment color-coded flags (Green, Yellow or Red) on the calendar appointment details and note creation alerts (when applicable).
6 + Max Case Visits Remain
If 6 or more max case visits remain, then the appointment flag will appear as green and the clincian will not receive an alert upon note creation.
3-5 Max Case Visits Remain
Once the the Max Case Visits remaining hits 5 visits, the appointment flag will turn YELLOW and the clinician will receive a yellow alert upon note creation.
2 - Max Case Visits Remain
Once the the Max Case Visits remaining hits 2 visits, the appointment flag will turn RED and the clinician will receive a red alert upon note creation.
