To launch the Self Check-In Kiosk, you will receive a unique URL to activate the Self Check-In Kiosk on a dedicated device selected by your practice. For security and functionality, the kiosk URL cannot be opened on a device where someone is currently logged into Stride.
If you need this URL, please reach out to support@stridethera.com. At this time, this feature is ONLY available to STAX integrated clients.
Permissions:
In order to generate the Self Check in Kiosk Code, a Stride user will need to have Kiosk Administrator Access. Site Administrators have the ability to add this Permission under Settings > Staff > Permissions.
Generate the Daily Self Check in Kiosk Code:

Once logged into Stride, find select your user Account in the Top Right Corner followed by generate Kiosk Code.

Next, under the Check in Kiosk tab on the Left, select GENERATE KIOSK CODE.
- Here, you will be asked to select a Practice Location from the Drop down menu, and then click GENERATE.
On the device you have specified to use for Self Check in - be sure to bookmark the specific URL provided by Stride. You will enter the six digit code to activate the Kiosk for the day. This code will expire 10 minutes after generation. You can use as many devices as you want with the same URL, but you will need to generate a new code for each device.
