This report lists every fax sent out of Stride.
This will be the only Faxes report available for clients who are not integrated with Documo.
For clients integrated with Documo: Our recommendation is to consistently fax documents from within Stride itself. This allows for the history to be tracked within the Sent Faxes Report within Stride. Fax History can also be found within the patient chart, in the three dot menu to the right of the document name (eFax History).
The history of faxes sent out from Documo will only appear within the Documo 'history' section - it will not communicate back to Stride. If you need to utilize this process, it is best practice to scan the successful fax into the files section of Stride or use the case notes to document that the fax was sent out to ensure there is a record of the outbound fax in Stride.
This report includes the following columns, all of which can be filtered:
Patient: the patient associated with the fax
Visit Date: the date of service associated with the fax
File Type: the file type of the faxed document
File Name: the file name of the faxed document
Case: the case associated with the fax
Primary Insurance: the primary insurance in the case associated with the fax
Upload Date: the date the file was uploaded to the case
Recipient Name: the name of the provider the fax was sent to
Destination: the fax number the fax was sent to
Date Sent: the date the fax was sent
Status: the status of the fax (Success, Failure, or Processing)
Error Reason: the reason for a failed fax
Note: Stride does not have an auto-fax feature to ensure that no faxes are sent out in error. Once you correct what has caused a fax to fail, it will need to be sent again manually.
The Sent Faxes report reflects all fax history, so each time a document is sent out, a new entry will appear in the report. You can filter the report by patient name, which will show you all faxes sent out associated with that patient. The Sent Faxes will also list the visit date and file type associated with the fax, so you can see which documents have been sent and if any of the attempts have been successful. Please note: the same file will be listed several times if it has been sent out several times. Each attempt will have its own entry in the Sent Faxes report.
This report can be exported as a CSV file by clicking on the ‘download’ icon in the top right corner.
